Here is the info on Drew's $323 million world record:

Strat: Oval racer, AT, park in front of grey van
Description: Right as the 15x multiplier showed up, the truck had a JX and jumped straight up into the bridge and 2 buses spun away towards the start line. Most of the damage was fast and came from the truck hitting the bridge, as if it was a wall glitch. One bus was spinning on end like a top and touching the highway alot, but it kept going out of sight. The replay sucked because it didn't show buses, just the crash at the bridge.

The ritual month is almost at end but before zone 28 was in line. I got a 116 million (7,7mil x 15) score using Japnese Muscle.

Got a aftertime glitch while in a crash off with RedderBattle639 and Wave. I estimate it would have been about 11-12 million damage, a score around 165 - 180 million.

Looks a power good glitch, to me looks like 14mil+ damage because truck kicked 2 buses into bridge effect. Im crashing on 28. :-)

Also the damage was already at 6 million if the glitch would have happened at end.

I recently found a wall strat for this zone, got a PR of 154mil with it, and posted the live vid on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPXQva7d61A

The world record must be possible with this strat(30+mil damage has been done several times with 9wall, and on this strat, the space where the glitch occurs is even more confined than 9wall, and the vehicles crash into the wall at a higher speed. Only 23mil damage is needed for the WR here, assuming you get 14 multi with this strat.

There are 3 difficult things about this strat that must be done for it to work:
not crashing on route to the blue SUV
getting to the blue SUV at the correct time
hitting the blue SUV at the correct angle

One way to get these conditions right is to copy what I did in my PR as closely as possible. Here is a detailed description on how I did it:

what happened in my pr:
RST MT 140mph
speed went down to low 130's before I shifted into gear 6.
I stayed on the left side of the road, instead of going on the rough beige-colored area in the centre.
I did not turn while going over the first bump. This is to prevent unwanted drifts, which usually send my car out of control on this strat. In fact, my car did not drift at all before crashing in this video.
After landing from the first jump, but before hitting the top of the second bump, I oriented my car in the direction of the light blue coupe(the one that I pass when the timer is at 25). Also, I watch out for the very small bump just before the second big bump(the one that I drive over as I pass the bus with the yellow line on the side); I barely catch any air off it, but it is enough to make my car start drifting if I am turning while going over it.
Immediately after landing the second jump, i turned to cut in front of the yellow SUV, being careful not to hit it, but also not to hit the light blue coupe(which is difficult to see at this point).
I started shifting down just before leaving the third major bump. By the time I left it, I was doing 155mph, and I was in gear 3 before I landed.
I made a small turn just as I was passing the light blue coupe, but there is one last bump to go over, and this too can make my car start a drift if I am not careful.
I started a light turn as I was passing the taxi, and changed into a tighter turn a fraction of a second later, and continued until the front-right corner of my car hit the back-left corner of the blue SUV. This sent my car in just the right direction so that it was close enough to the path of the vehicles in the left lane to get them "spooked"(that is, they drive near a car that has crashed and slam their brakes on and go into a frictionless slide until they touch another vehicle). However, my car was far enough to the left that none of the vehicles touched it as they went by.
My car spooked the yellow SUV in the left lane, but the semi truck (in the right lane) kept on its curved path until it touched the yellow SUV beside it while sliding towards the wall. Normally, spooked cars start slowing down once they make contact with another car, but this time, they did not slow down much if at all, possibly because the cab of the truck(its front section) had regained its friction, but the trailer had not, so the trailer pushed the cab towards the invisible wall. All of the other traffic crashed into the wall too, a total of 11 cars at the wall.

257mil video available for download

Post  sparker599 on Tue Feb 11, 2014 12:13 am

I have made a higher resolution version of my 257mil best video for this zone and put it up on youtube and dropbox. The original vid is also on my dropbox. The higher resolution one is 1152x864 instead of the 576x432 that i recorded the original video in. So the image is sharper and you can more clearly see the buspinner that was bouncing around above that edge where the tunnel ends, behind the start line. Both the dropbox vids are in 60fps

https://www.dropbox.com/s/lu38qm9fzq0rrni/28wall%20257mil.avi

Maybe I should have put the slow motion/wireframe parts last in the hires vid, but I've already spent too much time editing this vid.

Wall strat tutorial

Post  sparker599 on Thu Jun 26, 2014 11:07 pm

I've made a video tutorial with text annotations for the wall strat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFtihbFaDSE It's very detailed, so it's got a lot of text to read and is almost 11 minutes long. I included all the tips I know of to prevent common mistakes from happening, like how to avoid touching the buses at the beginning or drifting out of control.

This is the first tutorial anyone has made for any strat in crash mode, the first tutorial that I've made for a game, and my first time using Adobe Premiere. So don't expect it to be perfect.

Once we learn even more about this strat and I gain more experience in video editing, I may redo this tutorial. If I do, it would probably be in 2 or 3 instead of one long one to make it more manageable for people who are just beginning to use this strat.
